The Season Of New Beginnings

Autumn is the season of new beginnings and annual rituals.

When I was a school kid I loved September. Going back to school was a pleasure for me; of course this stopped when I entered high school. Shopping for school supplies was like being in a candy store for me. I still get a good feeling when I hit Business Depot for supplies.

It isn't uncommon for people to do very specific things come the beginning of September, mostly based on what they did as a youngster to prepare for school. I used to know a woman who was thrilled come autumn because it was her time of year to go out and by new underwear for herself. Obviously her particular shopping ritual started when she was school age and her mother took her shopping for school clothes, including new underwear.

If you are in business for yourself there is a good chance that you have planned for a new launch or marketing campaign around this time of year. You possibly have a different, maybe crisper view after the lazy days of summer and are getting ready to move forward in some aspect of your life. Or maybe you are a homemaker who has just gotten the kids back to school and are reviewing what you want for yourself now that you have some time back.

No matter what your situation this is also a time to give yourself a clean slate and start fresh at anything in your life that has been feeling stale. Take deep breaths of the refreshing autumn air and open up to all the unlimited possibilities in your life. Think of a dream that stimulates you and move forward with all of your passion. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain.

You are the creator of your life and a powerful one at that. If you can dream it you can make it happen.
