The Only Question
I'm sure
that you've heard this before, yet some things deserve
repeating.
There are only two primary emotions - love and fear. Any
other emotion is secondary and falls under the categories
of love or fear.
Therefore there is only one question that exists when
making any choices or decisions in life. What would love do
now? This is straight from the
Conversations With God book
series.
I am a staunch believer that it truly is the only question,
as we only have two choices when responding to life and
that's to either come from a place of love or a place of
fear.
There's no doubt that it can be much more difficult to
respond from love. It means being open and vulnerable in
most situations.
It's also the decision that feeds our soul and leaves us
glowing with the magnificence of our very essence.
Think about that this week as you make the choices that
mold your life. If by chance you had an automatic reaction
that came from fear no worries, it can always be turned
around. Ain't life grand!
"Love is not an emotion, it's a choice. In every thing we do and in every way we respond to other people, in that moment we choose to either come from our highest space of compassion, empathy and good will or a lesser space inside of pride, jealousy, anger, etc. When we decide to approach ourselves or other people from that higher place we are choosing to love. In every moment, if we can just stop and think for a second instead of just reacting, we have the opportunity to choose to love. No matter what the situation."
