A Salute To Dreamers
When I
was growing up daydreaming was considered undesirable. I
could tell by the way parents and teachers would tell
children to get their heads out of the clouds. Adults
wanted kids to be practical. It was worse if you happened
to be an adult that was a dreamer...the popular thought was
that you'd get nowhere in life.
My personal opinion on that is HOGWASH! God bless the
dreamers or we'd still be living in caves.
You see many things wouldn’t have been invented unless
someone thought of it in the first place. Someone took the
time to ponder over all the details and visualize it in
their mind’s eye. Most inventions were someone’s dream.
It’s true that some of life’s greatest things were found by
accident, however I don’t believe that that covers the
majority of the things we love today.
This means that some of the greatest visionaries and
inventors ever were people who dared to dream dreams that
were larger than life and who dreamt them Technicolor.
So let's salute the dreamers and God bless them all,
including you and I.
On that note, what will you be daydreaming about today?
Take the first step. I dare you to make your dream over the
top, bigger than big, something that makes you scream
Hallelujah!!!
